Why Rainbow Rocks Is Fighting: Our history is defined by radical resilience, from Stonewall to the 2015 Marriage Equality victory born right here in Ohio. Today, that progress is under a coordinated National Attack. In 2026, the Trump Administration is systematically erasing Transgender and Non-Binary people from federal law. Through executive orders like "Restoring Biological Truth," the administration has stripped away Title IX protections, removed LGBTQIA+ data from hundreds of government surveys, and is actively pushing for a National Ban on Gender-Affirming Care. In Ohio, we are the front-line defense against state-level erasure. We are fighting HB 245 (the Public Drag Ban), HB 68 (the Healthcare Ban), and "Forced Outing" bills that target our youth. Rainbow Rocks stands as a shield against those who seek to criminalize our visibility and our joy. Alongside our Allies, we fight because our right to exist is non-negotiable.
